Dr. Nikhil Vashi

Dr. Nikhil Vashi is a distinguished Orthodontist with a career spanning over three decades. After successfully graduating with an M.D.S. in Orthodontics from Nair Hospital Dental College, Bombay University, in 1985, he ventured into private practice that has flourished ever since. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Nikhil Vashi achieved the esteemed title of Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics (D.I.B.O.) in 2000, further enhancing his reputation for his skills and expertise in the field.

Since 1989, he has been actively making scientific presentations at numerous conferences and scientific meetings held by various associations both in India and abroad. One of his significant contributions was a Table Clinic Presentation at the 110th Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists in Washington DC in 2010 about his new methods of Ligation.

Additionally, he has an impressive list of publications showcasing his contributions to the field. He has also been quite generous in sharing his knowledge and expertise by conducting workshops for orthodontists and postgraduate students, imparting valuable insights to aspiring professionals.

Dr. Nikhil Vashi was a scientific convener of Innovation Conclaves, organized by the Indian Orthodontic Society in 2014 and 2015. He has also chaired scientific sessions at numerous conferences. 

Dr. Nikhil has a number of inventions and innovations to his credit. His goal has always been to offer pain-free, effective, and efficient treatment for the patients. Guided by empathy, he provides thorough care to his patients. He’s been honoured with 5 awards recognizing his innovative achievements and has held 3 patents in India and in the USA.

Dr. Nikhil was a Convener of Bombay Orthodontic Study Group and assistant editor of Journal of Indian Orthodontic Society earlier.

Furthermore, he holds the titles of Fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has also been associated with several local dental and orthodontic associations.
