General Dentistry

Case 1 – Median Diastema The patient presented with an excellent alignment of teeth, expressing a single concern regarding a slight gap between their two front teeth. We addressed this by performing a direct composite build-up, resulting in the patient leaving our care with a radiant and satisfied smile.

Case 2 – RCT – Front Tooth A 16-year-old girl presented with significant swelling in her upper lip and face, accompanied by intense pain in her front teeth. The source of her discomfort was deeply decayed teeth, resulting in an infection within the pulpal tissues. Opting for a nonsurgical approach, we proceeded with a thorough management plan. Drainage of a sizable abscess was performed through the root canals, granting the patient substantial relief from her pain. She underwent several dressings to ensure the complete resolution of her condition, ultimately allowing us to preserve and restore her front natural teeth.

Case 3 – RCT – Molar A woman sought treatment due to difficulty chewing food and persistent tooth pain. She presented with multiple infected teeth, affecting the dental pulp. Radiographic examination indicated a chronic infection accompanied by bone loss. With precise skill and careful negotiation of root curvatures, we performed the root canal treatment in multiple sessions to effectively drain the infection and restore her teeth.

Case 4 – Smile Design A young woman of marriageable age arrived with several missing front teeth and an outdated, unattractive dental bridge that affected her smile. Addressing her needs, we performed multiple root canals and various procedures to enhance the aesthetics of her smile. Ultimately, we were able to provide her with a stunning aesthetic bridge and a meticulously designed smile, allowing her to confidently showcase her radiant smile on her wedding day.

Case 5 – Fillings A young girl visited for braces while having pre-existing fillings. Upon examination, we suspected secondary decay beneath the existing fillings. To address this issue, we meticulously removed the decay and proceeded to replace the fillings with new ones for her dental care.

Case 6 – Scaling and Polishing An apprehensive 48-year-old woman accompanied her children for their braces appointment, having never undergone a dental check-up herself. During the examination, we noticed substantial tartar deposits on her teeth. With care and patience, we explained the cleaning procedure to her, alleviating her fears and fostering confidence. She grasped the importance of maintaining her teeth through proper brushing techniques, marking a positive step forward in her oral care journey.

Case 7 – Child with Cavities A young child presented with multiple teeth affected by decay. Through attentive and compassionate care, we administered the necessary fillings, bringing joy to the child as she regained the ability to eat without experiencing any pain.

Case 8 – Extra Tooth (Mesiodens) A vigilant and caring father brought his child, who had a protruding tooth and “double teeth” issue. Upon examination, we discovered an extra tooth, known as a mesiodens, positioned behind her permanent tooth. We recommended extracting this additional tooth to facilitate natural alignment. We also addressed decay in her baby teeth by restoring them. Future evaluation may involve considering braces, if necessary, to further improve the alignment of her teeth.

Case 9 – Single Tooth Replaced with Implant A 38-year-old woman experienced loss of her lower first molar due to severe decay beneath a dental cap. To address this, we performed a tooth extraction and proceeded to replace it with a dental implant and crown for optimal restoration.

Case 10 – FMR – Case with Multiple missing and Multiple Decayed Teeth A woman with partial anodontia, experiencing severe pain in her decayed teeth, sought assistance to restore her ability to eat comfortably. Through thorough planning and root canal treatments to salvage several teeth, we were able to provide crowns, transforming her smile into a beautiful one. She ultimately chose removable dentures over implant-supported fixed teeth for her dental solution.

Case 11 – FMR Case A patient in his forties sought dental assistance due to deteriorating crowns, multiple teeth affected by decay, and missing teeth. After meticulous planning, we embarked on a full mouth rehabilitation journey to restore their occlusion, function, and smile. This involved root canal treatments for select teeth, extraction of root fragments and severely infected teeth, as well as the replacement of missing teeth with implant-supported restorations. Additionally, we worked on restoring their collapsing bite for a comprehensive and effective rehabilitation.
